1st Annual Joe LaGuardia Amyloidosis Foundation 5k Run/Walk
Joe LaGuardia was diagnosed with amyloidosis in November of 2011, and passed after a six month battle with the disease. Please join us as we run and walk to raise awareness of this rare disease and support research to find its cure.

The 2013 Amyloidosis Foundation orchestrates two special evening events a year as an opportunity for those whose lives have been touched by amyloidosis to come together as a community, and offer their support of a future where a cure is possible.
The 2013 Amyloidosis Foundation Metro-Detroit Benefit: Art, Autos, and Amyloid
This year's theme is "The Healing Power of Art" and is an evening fundraising event that will feature the artwork of various amyloidosis patients. The benefit will consist of a strolling dinner, cocktails, door prizes, silent art auction, live music by an amyloidosis patient, and several guest speakers. Opportunities for patient, patient family member or student sponsorship are available.
